  Pope Pius XII enjoined the faithful to join devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to that of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. His words echoed those of Our Lady of Fatima: "The Heart of Jesus wished to be venerated together with the Heart of His Mother." It serves as a reminder of teh great love Jesus and Mary have for us, and that we must love them in return.
